Our staff are extremely dedicated, caring and hard-working. Many of them are parents whose own children attended the pre-school. We also have staff who have been employed by us directly from college. This range of experience helps us provide the children with the highest levels of support and education.
We have 9 members of teaching staff, all fully-qualified teachers or with qualifications in early years’ education. We also have an Administration Officer who deals with the waiting list, fees and funding.
Our staffing levels enable us to work with the children at ratios of 1:5 for over 3s and 1:4 for under 3s.
All staff are trained in Children’s First Aid and in the use of the epi-pen and attend a refresher course every three years. The Manager and two other members of staff hold a food safety certificate. We have a Safeguarding Officer and as a member of the Early Years Alliance we are committed to an on-going staff training programme.
